The Cape Town Expo for Young Scientists is an annual event in which learners from Grade 6 to 12 showcase their investigative projects.
This web site has been designed to tell you all about Expo and to encourage you to participate. Please use it as a tool to help you prepare a successful Expo project.

Yolanda Nkala and Kholiswa Ntshinga represented South Africa at the 36th Beijing International Youth Science competion in March. The Cape Town region is proud to announce that they were awarded a Silver medal for their project. They also received a special award for Agricultural Innovation.

Regional Expo 2016
Regional Expo 2016 has come and gone. A record number of projects were submitted for judging.
Congratulations to those learners who have qualified to attend the International Science and Engineering Fair in Boksburg from 5 to 7 October.
A huge thank you to all the judges who gave willingly of their time to judge the projects.
