The Cape Town Expo for Young Scientists is an annual event in which learners from Grade 6 to 12 showcase their investigative projects.
This web site has been designed to tell you all about Expo and to encourage you to participate. Please use it as a tool to help you prepare a successful Expo project.

Expo Preparation Afternoon 5 August 2016
Presentations and information documents for the 5 August 2016 are available for download. The documents can be downloaded at once as a compressed file or one by one from the For Teachers page.
Yolanda Nkala and Kholiswa Ntshinga represented South Africa at the 36th Beijing International Youth Science competion in March. The Cape Town region is proud to announce that they were awarded a Silver medal for their project. They also received a special award for Agricultural Innovation.

Regional Expo 2016
The Regional Expo for 2016 will once again take place in the UCT Sports Centre. The planned dates are from Monday 29 August 2016 to Wednesday 31 August 2016. The calendar can be downloaded here.
